About Us

St. Benedict's Episcopal Day School will be located at 2160 Cooper Lake Road, at the intersection of Atlanta Road and Cumberland Parkway and will provide classes for children 2 through kindergarten.  It is a partnership of St. Benedict's Episcopal Church, currently meeting at Campbell Middle School on Atlanta Road in Smyrna, and Vinings Academy.  Yearly Grade expansions are planned though 5th grade.

We expect to have 80 children enrolled by fall in a new village of learning cottages called the "B-Hive" on the top of the hill overlooking the Atlanta skyline and nestled in the historic oaks where Oakdale received its name.

School Campus 

The property is currently vacant but there are renovations being made to the school building in preparation for the upcoming year.  Renovations to the church will begin after the school building is completed.  In the mean time, there will be a village of learning cottages called the "B-Hive" set up for use until the school renovations are complete.  A artist's rendering and schematic of the B-Hive will be posted soon.
