St. Benedict's Summer Sunday School Opportunities
St. Benedict's offers Sunday School for Children, Youth and Adults. The Summer schedule is a lighter more relaxed schedule designed to allow helpers and parish families their much deserved vacations.
God’s Growers - “The Greenhouse”
Children ages six weeks through PreK are invited to gather each Sunday in “The Greenhouse”.
Our nurturing center (The Greenhouse) is staffed by certified professional caregivers through "A Friend of the Family". The Grower’s regular Sunday school is on hiatus until August 17th, but “The Greenhouse” will remain open for childcare throughout the summer.
Sunday Morning Summer Schedule (May 25 - August 10, 2008)
9:00am Nurturing Center opens
9:00 - 11:00am Free play, Arts and Crafts & Snack Time
11:00am Children will join their parents for the Eucharist
(children not joining their parents will remain in "The Greenhouse")
11:30am (or at the conclusion of the service) Pick up
God’s Builders – “The Treehouse”
Rising 1st - rising 5th graders’ regular Sunday school is on hiatus until August 17th, a special intergenerational summer Sunday program begins June 8th.
Children’s Chapel will meet as usual in “The Treehouse” at 10:30am.
Children’s Chapel
St. Benedict’s welcomes and encourages children to take an active part in community worship. Children are always welcome to join their parents for the service; however we also offer an option. A children’s Liturgy of the Word, parallel to the adult liturgy but geared to their level, is offered each Sunday for children Kindergarten – 10 years old. The children will then join their parents at the offertory for the Eucharist.

Youth Sunday School
Middlers & High School youths’ regular Sunday school is on hiatus until August 17th, a special intergenerational summer Sunday program begins June 8th. Click here to learn more.

The Adult Sunday School meets in the Parent Resource Room in the main school building.
