Come & Worship With Us!

Worship at St. Benedict's is in the rich Episcopal liturgical tradition with the Eucharistic celebration and music and singing. The Eucharist is a community celebration where all take an active part. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive Communion. Music and singing are fundamental and essential elements to Christian worship. As such, they are a large part of worship at St. Benedict's. St. B's Needed Worship Items

memorial giftsThank you to the growing number of members, friends and family who are donating gifts of sacred vessels, furnishings, etc. to St. Benedict’s.  In February 2008 we began dedicating and blessing items and putting them into service.  If you would like to make a gift to the worship fund, please contact Betsy Shuford (678) 279-4302.  You may also want to read a letter from Lang (PDF file) concerning needed worship items. These items may be given in thanksgiving for, in memory of, as well as in honor of a loved one of special friend.

We are preliminary projecting that these items will cost approximately $100,000 which must be raised by the mission church and is not paid for by the Diocese.  We have received some generous donations but have a long way to go.  Thank you for giving these items for Christ's new church!
